Our physicians have completed specific ACGME accredited fellowships in Pain Management, and are uniquely qualified to provide the safest, most innovative, and most effective treatment modalities in the management of pain related symptoms. We combine traditional treatments with the latest interventional pain management techniques including various minimally invasive injectional modalities, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulator implants, intrathecal drug delivery implants, and percutaneous disc decompressions.

REZA MAHROU, MD Dr. Mahrou specializes in Pain Management, and has a background in Surgery, and Anesthesiology. After completing his surgical training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, he successfully finished his residency in Anesthesiology and Perioperative Care at UCLA Medical Center. During this time, he was drawn to the relatively new field of Pain Management. His Training in Pain Management was also completed at UCLA Medical Center in conjunction with the UCLA Comprehensive Spine Center.

AMIR RAFIZAD, MD Dr. Rafizad also specializes in Pain Management, and his background is in Medicine and Anesthesiology. After completing his transitional internship training at Cook County Hospital, he enrolled and successfully finished his Anesthesiology training at this program. During this period, he was trained by Dr. Winnie who is one of the pioneers in pain management and regional anesthesia. He subsequently completed his training in Pain Management at UCLA Medical Center in conjunction with the UCLA Comprehensive Spine Center.
